A food recipe created by Leung Fai, an executive chef at Hoi King Heen located in the InterContinental Grand Standford Hong Kong hotel.

The following ingredient needed to complete this dish:

- 400g pork

- 250g chicken

- 80g hairy fig

- 300g Chinese yam

- 3 pieces fried fig

- 40g glehnia root

- 1 piece dried tangerine peel

- 1 piece ginger

- Black garlic (optional)

The first step in preparing this recipe, you must begin chopping the pork and chicken meat into small pieces and of course, make sure you clear out the unwanted parts of the meat. After doing so, you should rinse the freshly cut meat thoroughly with water and blanch it in boiling water.

As for all the other ingredients, ensure that they are properly washed and cleaned before placing them into the pot together with the meat. Ensure that the pot is filled with 1litre of water while it is cooking all the ingredients and cover the pot with the lid. Steam the covered soup for approximately 4 hours. Then add a spoonful of salt before serving the dish. It is recommended to consolidate the dish with fresh and black garlic to make it a healthier meal.

According to research, fresh garlic can help fight flu and common colds. Aged and fermented black garlic is filled with antioxidants and can be added to this food recipe for a subtle sweetness. Moreover, garlic which is the most known things are also good to fight infection. It helps to relieve a blocked nose. Garlic gets that distinctive smell from sulfur compounds and regardless of whether you love the aroma, it offers protective benefits to your health and immune response. That's because when garlic is crushed or chopped, it produces allicin, which previous research has highlighted for its antiviral and antibacterial properties.

Therefore, prevention is better than cure. You can choose to avoid infection by taking food that can maintain your health and keeping your immune system in a good shape is a smart idea. Take care!
